SOA is based in Brooklyn, New York and works across multiple design disciplines through the lens of romantic retro-futurism. Our spaces constitute a carefully reflected position of identity, history and textural narrative.
The spaces we occupy are simultaneously points of departure and retreat. Spaces are not static by their very nature - the built world moves, expands, and contracts. Within these dynamics of perpetual change, we create a vision for a life, a fantasy, a dream, a place of healing. It’s the assembly, not its disparate parts, that define our material reality.
